Tip: Prompting is a new LANGUAGE. A new communication form. Because it’s “like” English, or like your native language, it’s kind of camouflaged. It’s maybe something like learning poetry, or creative writing.
Prompt Skill: Making Requests & Asking: Most of us have trouble asking directly, and making direct request. We have learned that in order to be socially graceful, and acceptable, we need to be diplomatic, indirect, and sometimes cryptic. Instead of saying to another person “Write a list of 10 steps to complete this project” we’ll say “Would it be OK for me to ask you to maybe make an outline of what you see for the vision and how we might accomplish this project?”
Focus Is Stress Reduction: Stress is a silent killer and sapper of success.
Prompt 1: Explain what stress is and how it affects the body and mind.
Prompt 2: List 3 ways to manage my stress when I’m experiencing a fight with my partner.
Prompt 3: Create a stress management plan that includes daily relaxation techniques.
